Bluetooth 5.0 High performance with faster, more stable connections The Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic 2 are equipped with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 chip, which has a data transmission speed two times faster than the previous generation as well as faster and more stable connections. The Redmi brand has expanded its range of branded accessories with the release of a new model of TWS headset called AirDots 2.
The successor to the first generation of wireless headphones introduced last year is notable for the updated Bluetooth module, compact dimensions and traditionally affordable price.
A 7.2mm driver is installed inside each earbud, which, according to Redmi representatives, is balanced across the entire frequency range.
The novelty also received support for Environment Noise Reduction technology, thanks to which ambient noise is suppressed during phone calls.
The key difference between AirDots and AirDots 2 is the presence of the latest Bluetooth 5.0, which provides a quick connection of the headset to a smartphone and better energy efficiency. By default, AirDots 2 support XiaoAI voice assistant features.
The weight of each earbud is only 4.1 grams, the claimed battery life is up to 4 hours, and when recharging from a branded case, up to 12 hours. The AirDots 2 also comes with three sizes of interchangeable silicone tips.
